Shibusawa Logistics was established in 1897 as a division of Shibusawa’s family business in Fukagawa, Tokyo, inspired by Eiichi Shibusawa's conviction that "warehousing is essential for the healthy growth of commerce and industry." Since then, we have evolved alongside society, becoming a leading full-service logistics company.
Our group operates on two primary business pillars: logistics and real estate. In the logistics sector, we offer a full range of services, including storage, transportation, processing, and import/export forwarding, for a diverse array of products, from beverages and daily sundries to industrial goods, both domestically and internationally. In the real estate sector, we offer services in real estate development, leasing, and property management.
In 2020, our group refreshed its corporate philosophy by establishing a shared value based on the spirit of our founder, Eiichi Shibusawa, the group mission (social mission to be fulfilled), and the Shibusawa 2030 Vision (our aspirational future). Our social mission is defined as “supporting the realization of a sustainable and prosperous society through the creation of new value beyond logistics.” To put this mission into practice, we emphasize our shared values: “only profits pursued through just and moral principles can endure and enrich society.” This philosophy reflects the spirit of the Shibusawa Logistics Group and aligns with contemporary sustainability efforts.
We will continue to be a “Value Partner” that creates new value for our customers' business activities by developing a wide range of services that go beyond the framework of logistics, in addition to demonstrating our originality by clarifying the strengths of our business.
